Tri State Gun Club, Inc. is a private non-profit corporation incorporated in the State of Iowa. Our mission is to provide members with a facility for the enjoyment of shooting sports and related outdoor activities, and to promote public education and avid youth participation in shooting and hunting activities.
Tri State Gun Club also sponsors and promotes a variety of shooting competitions including league trapshooting, informal trapshooting, IHMSA silhouette matches, CMP rifle matches, Young Guns events and many others throughout the year. Please check our calendar for upcoming events.
Club memberships run July 1 through June 30 and are valid for 1 year. A prospective member must present an application to the membership for approval at a regular monthly meeting. Membership is $60.00 per year plus a $29.00 deposit that is required for your new electronic gate pass. New memberships are pro-rated monthly. The annual meeting is held each year in August after the regular monthly meeting occurring on the second Friday of each month. Officers and Directors are elected at the annual meeting. Members are encouraged to attend all meetings and in particular the annual meeting.
Tri State Gun Club is a family oriented organization and we encourage members and their families to use the facilities to encourage safe firearms usage. Volunteers from among the membership perform maintenance, conduct the shooting competitions, mow grass, grade the road, spray weeds, clean the clubhouse, etc.
Any member may bring a guest or guests to use club shooting ranges once at no charge, said member is responsible for conduct of guest. Further use of such facilities by the same non-members shall be discouraged, and fees for such use shall be established and collected. Guests must complete a liability waiver.
